I adore anthologies, especially when they are written flawlessly, with each story being supremely well-developed and rich in detail. Silence on the Plains is just this: a perfect anthology book with flawlessly crafted stories that will compel, intrigue, and excite you from beginning to end! Ray Pairan, the talented author of this dystopian anthology, is an incredible writer whose work deserves recognition from all readers. Silence on the Plains is an anthology that allows readers to experience a variety of different stories. Each short story in this excellent collection is unique and never sounds similar, which is a hard quality to achieve in an anthology. I must applaud Ray Pairan for his talent in crafting original, creative stories.

This anthology is a composition of diverse tales that will compel you to read and get lost in completely. While I cannot discuss each story without spoiling the book, I will say that they are all utterly brilliant and feature compelling science and dystopian themes. My particular favorites included stories like Freedom, Red Glow, and The Dangerous Blue Planet; however, these are just three of the many exceptional stories woven throughout the incredible Silence on the Plains!

Ray Pairan is an incredibly talented author, and he proves this through his different short stories. I loved how he quickly sets the scene and makes it easy to invest in the characters in just a few pages. Although his stories are short, each tale is well-developed with an excellent plot, rich characterization, and compelling elements that will make you fall madly in love with Silence on the Plains!

Given my admiration for Silence on the Plains, I have no choice but to award this dystopian anthology a dazzling five stars! It is a unique, chilling, and thrilling book that will have you turning the pages with haste. The stunning literature from Ray Pairan will excite and enthrall you from the first page with his well-formed stories.
